Abstract

Die Karnevalssession ist in diesem Jahr aufgrund der frühen Lage Osterns kürzer als im letzten Jahr. Die komprimierte Dauer bündelt den närrischen Konsum auf wenige Wochen und zeigt sich vor allem an den Höhepunkten zwischen Weiberfastnacht und Aschermittwoch. Welche wirtschaftlichen Impulse daraus entstehen und welche Rolle Hotellerie und Gastronomie dabei spielen, zeigt ein genauer Blick auf die Session.
