Öffentliche Ausgaben für die Betreuung im Ländervergleich

Abstract

In den Bundesländern wird unterschiedlich viel in die frühkindliche Bildung investiert. Setzt man die öffentlichen Ausgaben für die Kitas und Tageseltern im Jahr 2023 ins Verhältnis zur Zahl der unter Sechsjährigen, ergibt sich für Brandenburg mit 12.145 Euro der höchste und für Baden-Württemberg mit 8.590 Euro der niedrigste Wert. Der Hauptgrund sind unterschiedliche Betreuungsquoten im Alter unter drei Jahren.
