Neue US-Zölle auf Stahl- und Aluminiumprodukte: Schlimmer als gedacht

Abstract

Zwar betreffen die neuen US-Zölle auf Stahl- und Aluminiumprodukte nur eine geringe Zahl von Waren. Doch dahinter steht ein beträchtlicher Wert. Zudem sind viele Waren aus den Kernbereichen der Industrie darunter. Diese stehen für fast 9 Prozent der gesamten US-Importe aus Deutschland. Bei Maschinen und Apparaten aus Deutschland sind es sogar 27 Prozent. Aber die USA schaden sich auch selbst, da viele der betroffenen Waren nur schwer ersetzbar sein dürften.
