Abstract

Für die zukünftige Verteidigungsfinanzierung sind zwei zentrale Entscheidungen gefallen. Zum einen wurde im Vorfeld des NATO-Gipfels in Den Haag ein neues Ausgabenziel des Verteidigungsbündnisses beschlossen. Zum anderen hat die Bundesregierung einen neuen Haushaltsentwurf vorgelegt. Deutschland wird den Aufwuchs der Verteidigungsausgaben in den nächsten Jahren entsprechend der NATO-Vereinbarung erreichen - aber zu zwei Dritteln über verteidigungsbedingte Kredite finanzieren.
