Ökonomische Verluste nach zwei Jahren Corona-Pandemie

Abstract

In den zwei bisherigen Corona-Jahren gab es in Deutschland einen Wertschöpfungsausfall in Höhe von rund 350 Milliarden Euro. Dabei kam es über die vergangenen acht Quartale zu Konsumeinbußen von 270 Milliarden Euro. Hätte es die Pandemie nicht gegeben, dann wären die Investitionen um rund 60 Milliarden Euro höher ausgefallen. Pandemiebedingte Staatsausgaben und vor allem der Außenhandel dämpften im zweiten Corona-Jahr die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Einbußen merklich ab.
