Lokale Präsenz von Parteien: Ein Ost-West-Gefälle?

Abstract

Die Zugewinne der AfD bei der Bundestagswahl waren enorm. Im Osten fiel ihr Stimmenanteil fast doppelt so hoch aus wie im Westen. Das zeigt sich auch in der regionalen Verteilung der Anlaufstellen der Partei: Während bei Union, SPD, Grüne und FDP etwa 90 Prozent der Partei-Anlaufstellen im Westen liegen, befindet sich fast die Hälfte der AfD-Standorte im Osten. Im Westen entfällt auf die AfD lediglich ein Anteil von 3 Prozent aller Partei-Anlaufstellen, im Osten dagegen 17 Prozent. Präsent vor Ort ist die AfD zudem auf andere Art als andere Parteien.
