Verteidigung reißt Finanzierungslücken

Abstract

Zur Sicherstellung der finanziellen NATO-Verpflichtungen müssen entsprechende Ressourcen im Bundeshaushalt bereitgestellt werden. Für das aktuelle Ziel von zwei Prozent fehlen mit dem Ende des Sondervermögens im Jahr 2028 gut 21 Milliarden Euro. Wenn das NATO-Ziel ab 2025 in vier Schritten auf drei Prozent angehoben wird, steigt die Deckungslücke auf über 74 Milliarden im Jahr 2028 und 136 Milliarden in der gesamten Legislaturperiode. Die Wahlprogramme zur Bundestagswahl geben keine ausreichende Antwort darauf, wie diese Lücke geschlossen werden kann.
