Auswirkungen des Krieges in der Ukraine auf die Weltwirtschaft: IW-Schätzung der Größenordnungen

Abstract

Gemäß einer IW-Schätzung dürfte die weltweite Wirtschaftsleistung im Jahr 2022 um deutlich über 1.600 Milliarden US-Dollar niedriger ausgefallen sein als es hauptsächlich ohne die russische Invasion in der Ukraine der Fall gewesen wäre. Im Jahr 2023 können sich die weltweiten Produktionsausfälle gemäß den bestehenden Rahmenbedingungen auf nochmals rund 1.000 Milliarden US-Dollar belaufen. Fast 40 Prozent der Einbußen in 2023 entfallen schätzungsweise auf die Aufstrebenden Volkswirtschaften und Entwicklungsländer.
