Spatial Close Playing: Eine räumliche Methode zur Analyse digitaler und virtueller Räume

Abstract

Spatial Close Playing bezeichnet eine Methode zur Analyse digitaler und virtueller Räume durch ihre navigierbare Rekonstruktion und Untersuchung räumlicher Nutzung. Aufbauend auf der etablierten Methode des Close Playing erweitert Spatial Close Playing die Analyse um eine räumliche Perspektive: Levelstrukturen, Spielerbewegungen und Spielverläufe werden als dreidimensionale und zeitlich navigierbare Modelle untersucht. Durch immersive Analyseumgebungen können Forschende Räume frei erkunden, Spieltrajektorien visualisieren und Leveldesign direkt im Raum analysieren. Spatial Close Playing versteht digitale Spiele als spielbare Systeme und räumliche Forschungsobjekte, deren Struktur, Dynamik und Interaktionslogik innerhalb eines navigierbaren Analysemodells untersucht werden können.
