Abstract

Die Staatskanzlei des Landes Schleswig-Holstein hat das Institut für Weltwirtschaft im Mai 2007 mit der Erstellung einer Studie zum Thema „Potenziale und Chancen zum Aufbau einer gemeinsamen Wirtschaftsregion Schleswig-Holstein und Hamburg“ beauftragt, die hiermit vorgelegt wird. Diese Studie soll einen Überblick über die Stärken und Schwächen sowie über die Gemeinsamkeiten in der Wirtschaftslandschaft Schleswig-Holsteins und Hamburgs geben. Auf dieser Grundlage werden Kooperationspotenziale zwischen den beiden Bundesländern ausgelotet und Handlungsempfehlungen zur Ausgestaltung einer gemeinsamen Wirtschaftsregion entwickelt.
