Bundeshaushalt 2021: Zwischen Krisenbekämpfung und "günstiger" Gelegenheit

Abstract

Mindestens 15 Milliarden Euro Neuverschuldung tragen nichts zur Bekämpfung der Pandemiefolgen bei. Zu diesem Ergebnis kommt das Institut für Weltwirtschaft (IfW Kiel) in einem Gutachten für die Initiative Neue Soziale Marktwirtschaft (INSM). Hätte der Bundestag bei der Verabschiedung des Bundeshaushalts nicht erneut eine Notsituation festgestellt, hätten es diese Ausgaben wegen der Schuldenbremse höchstwahrscheinlich nicht in den Haushaltsplan geschafft.
