Zu den Auswirkungen der Flüchtlingsmigration - ein Update

Abstract

Der Flüchtlingszuzug nach Deutschland hat sich in den vergangenen Monaten weiter spürbar verringert. Nach dem bisherigen Höhepunkt mit rund 200 000 zugezogenen Flüchtlingen im November vergangenen Jahres sank der Zuzug auf zuletzt nur noch 16 000 (sowohl im April als auch im Mai). Hauptursache für den kräftigen Rückgang sind die Grenzschließungen entlang der Balkanroute. Für unsere Prognose nehmen wir an, dass bis Ende 2017 weiterhin nur noch 16 000 Flüchtlinge pro Monat in Deutschland ankommen. Unter dieser Annahme werden in diesem Jahr insgesamt 320 000 Zuzüge im System zur Erstverteilung von Asylbegehrenden (EASY) registriert, im nächsten Jahr weitere 195 000. In unserer Frühjahrsprognose vom März unterstellten wir mit 992 000 (2016) und 600 000 (2017) noch weitaus höhere Zuzugszahlen.
