Finanzielle Gesundheit für Eltern: Einblicke in einen internationalen Bildungsansatz

Abstract

André Hamann und Dr. Sabine Schwarz (Lernende Region Köln) stellen den international entwickelten Ansatz "Finanzielle Gesundheit für Eltern (FGE)" vor. Das von UNICEF, The Human Safety Net und AFLATOUN entwickelte Konzept wurde 2024 erstmals in Deutschland erprobt: In praxisnahen Workshops mit über 160 Eltern wurden Basisfähigkeiten wie Sparen, Haushalten und Prioritätensetzen im Familienbudget vermittelt. Internationale Studien zeigen, dass Eltern entscheidende Finanzvorbilder sind. Angesichts steigender Lebenshaltungskosten und wachsender Armutsrisiken stärkt FGE gezielt ihre finanzielle Resilienz – mit direktem Einfluss auf die Bildungs‑ und Teilhabechancen ihrer Kinder. Nach erfolgreicher Pilotphase wird das Programm in Deutschland fortgeführt.
