Abstract

If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got - Dieses Eingangszitat liest sich einleuchtend. Will ich mein Leben verändern, so muss ich meine Entscheidungen verändern. Im Kontext von Geld könnte man also sagen: Will ich Vermögen aufbauen, so muss ich ganz einfach so entscheiden, dass mehr Geld rein- als rausfliesst. Ist das wirklich so einfach? Wieso entscheiden wir uns eigentlich so wie wir uns entscheiden? Wie können wir bessere Finanzentscheidungen treffen? Mögliche Antworten auf diese Frage liefert die verhaltensökonomische Forschung der letzten Jahre. Mit der ernüchternden Schlussfolgerung: So einfach ist es leider doch nicht. Und dennoch: Vieles könnten wir besser machen.
