Entwicklung und Determinanten des Siedlungsabfallaufkommens in Deutschland

Abstract

Die regionalen Abfallstatistiken aus den Siedlungsabfallbilanzen der Länder wurden unseres Wissens das erste Mal in diesem Papier in einem Datensatz gesammelt und vergleichend dargestellt. Insgesamt liefern die Auswertungen Hinweise auf verschiedene Erklärungsfaktoren für die Höhe des Aufkommens einzelner Abfallfraktionen. Anhand der Auswertung der Daten auf kleinräumiger Ebene wird allerdings deutlich, dass die Siedlungsabfallbilanzen der Länder für Vergleichszwecke unzureichend sind.
