Die volkswirtschaftliche Bedeutung des Raffineriesektors in Deutschland

Abstract

Mineralöl ist für eine effiziente und zuverlässige Energieversorgung unserer Volkswirtschaft von entscheidender Bedeutung. In der Studie werden sechs Kernaussagen zur Mineralölindustrie abgeleitet. Das Resultat zeigt, dass ein Verzicht auf Mineralöl mit erheblichen Wohlfahrtsverlusten in der deutschen Volkswirtschaft verbunden wäre. Vor dem Hintergrund der aktuellen energiepolitischen Diskussion, mit dem Ziel eines Paradigmenwechsels zu den vermeintlich preiswerteren und verlässlicheren erneuerbaren Energien in allen Bereichen und dem Ausstieg aus fossilen Energien, werden in der vorliegenden Studie die Vorteile des Energieträgers Öl sowie dessen volkswirtschaftliche Bedeutung einer eingehenden Analyse unterzogen.
