Vom Start-up zum "Unternehmen im Unternehmen": Die Transformation eines Geschäftsmodells bei enercity in Hannover

Abstract

enercity steht als kommunales Energieunternehmen vor großen transformatorischen Herausforderungen. Wurden in der Vergangenheit neue Geschäftsfelder ausgründet, sind die betrieblichen Sozialpartner*innen bei der Elektromobilität bewusst einen anderen Weg eingegangen. Um eine Zersplitterung der Organisation und die negativen Folgen für Beschäftigung und Mitbestimmung zu vermeiden, wurde im Frühjahr 2023 die Skalierung des Geschäftsfeldes Elektromobilität innerhalb der eigenen Organisation als "Unternehmen im Unternehmen" ermöglicht. Ziel ist es, ausgewählte in E-Mob entwickelte Strukturen, Kulturen und Arbeitsweisen auf enercity zu übertragen, um positive Veränderungen in der gesamten Aktiengesellschaft zu erreichen.
