Branchenanalyse Fördertechnik und Intralogistik: Perspektiven für Arbeit und Beschäftigung

Abstract

Die Fördertechnik- und Intralogistikbranche ist nach Umsatz die drittgrößte und eine der am schnellsten wachsenden Teilbranchen des Maschinenbaus. Die Beschäftigtenzahlen liegen bei rund 78.000 und damit um 10.000 Beschäftigte höher als noch 2008. Die Coronapandemie hat den Wachstumspfad der Branche zunächst einmal unterbrochen; langfristig wird sie aber eine Wachstumsbranche bleiben. Dazu tragen ein boomender E-Commerce- und Logistiksektor maßgeblich bei. Mithilfe von Interviews und einer Befragung von Betriebsräten wirft die Studie einen Blick auf kurzfristige und langfristige Branchentrends und ihre Auswirkungen auf Arbeit und Beschäftigung.
