Abstract

Die Automobilbranche in Deutschland ist seit Jahrzehnten etabliert. Neue Anbieter spielten seit dem Markteintritt von Volkswagen nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg kaum eine Rolle. Dies wird gegenwärtig durch neue Anbieter hauptsächlich im Feld der Elektromobilität anders. Über die Entwicklung von Tesla vom Pleitekandidaten zum Gamechanger wurde in diesem Projekt bereits berichtet (Clausen/Olteanu 2020). Aber Tesla ist nicht allein. Eines der finanzstärksten Unternehmen der Welt, Google bzw. seine Dachgesellschaft Alphabet, ist mit seiner Ausgründung Waymo dabei, dass autonome Fahren serienreif zu bekommen. Und auch einige chinesische Hersteller wie BYD (Build Your Dreams) oder Geely/Volvo befinden sich auf dem Sprung in den europäischen Markt. In München arbeitet das Start-up Sono Motors an einer sozial-ökologischen Vision eines effizienten Elektroautos mit europäischer Lieferkette. [...]
