Abstract

Eine Ausbildung in der Altenpflegehilfe und in der Kinderpflege kann für junge Menschen mit Hauptschulabschluss ein Sprungbrett in eine vollqualifizierende Ausbildung sein. Expertinnen und Experten sowie die Auszubildenden selbst geben in diesem Working paper Auskunft darüber, unter welchen Rahmenbedingungen und mit welchen Fördermaßnahmen es gelingen kann, dass Hauptschülerinnen und -schülern nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss einer Ausbildung in der Kinderpflege oder Altenpflegehilfe vorbereitet und motiviert sind, sich zur Fachkraft in der Erziehung oder Altenpflege weiterzubilden.
