Abstract

L'analyse des réponses des ménages à l'enquête de conjoncture qu'effectue l'INSEE auprès d'eux permet de comprendre comment ils anticipent les évolutions de l'emploi, des prix ou de leur revenu et prévoyent de consommer ou d'épargner. Il serait dangereux d'essayer de prévoir l'évolution du taux d'épargne en utilisant uniquement cette enquête, car les réponses des ménages diffèrent souvent de leurs comportements effectifs. Cependant certaines réponses permettent d'affiner, pour le court terme, une prévision du comportement des ménages fondée sur l'analyse économétrique des données comptables.
