Estudio Actuarial De Los Fondos Del Seguro De Cesantía

Abstract

El esquema de financiamiento del Seguro de Cesantía es tripartito, pues incluye la participación de tres actores de la economía: trabajadores, empleadores y el Estado. Dada la participación del Estado, este tiene la obligación de velar por la correcta asignación de sus recursos y anticipar los potenciales problemas nancieros del Seguro de Cesantía. Es por esto que se establece la obligatoriedad de evaluar el funcionamiento del Seguro de Cesantía, especialmente del Fondo de Cesantía Solidario. La Superintendencia de Pensiones desarrolló un modelo de proyección que permite no sólo proyectar y evaluar la sustentabilidad de los Fondos.de Cesantía sino que también evaluar el impacto de propuestas de reforma al Seguro de Cesantía. Las proyecciones muestran que tanto el Fondo de Cesantía Solidario como las Cuentas Individuales de Cesantía son sustentables, incluso en situación de crisis económica y financiera.
