Abstract
How is the European wealth (measured by quantitative and qualitative indicators) distributed within the enlarged Europe? What are the results of the European countries in terms of innovation, nerve of competitiveness and source of growth ? Short and lung term economic policies implemented in Europe are supply-oriented and through deregulation and liberalisation of markets, they aim at favouring the creation of wealth. But, taking into account the foreign experiences (notably the American one), is it possible to ascertain that these policies will be helpful for the creation of a strong political and social Europe ? This document aims at participating at the debate on these subjects, giving a large part to the analysis of facts, on the issues of the measure and the distribution of wealth, on production, consumption and the role of State in today’s Europe.
