Abstract

The non-profit sector or the third sector is taking on in recent years in Italy a more pronounced social and economic importance. This paper analyzes the volume edited by Gian Paolo Barbetta, Stefano Cima and Nereo Zamaro for the publisher il Mulino Le istituzioni non-profit in Italia. Dimensioni organizzative, economiche e sociali (The non-profit institutions in Italy. Organizational size, economic and social). It is a book that allows you to update our knowledge of non-profit institutions in Italy and also on the organizational size and the economic and social sizes of the third sector. It is undoubtedly a contribution of great scientific interest as well as a significant civil witness.
