Abstract

The paper focuses on two main streams. First, the author tries to describe the concept of Europeanisation, its nature and definition. The articles elaborates on the ways of defining the phenomenon of Europeanisation. The author distinguishes three types of this coin: uploading top-down, downloading bottom up and integrating top-down vis-a-vis bottom-up Europeanisation. The second main stream of the paper is dedicated to the dimensions and context of Europeanisation. The author distinguishes and elaborates on eight, namely geographical, sociological, political, legal, institutional, macroeconomic endogeous, macroeconomic egzogeous as well as microeconomic dimensions of Europeanisation. On one hand, the paper is based on the subject literature review, but on the other hand, it proposes the own categorization of the phenomenon of Europeanisation, especially in the economics meaning.
