Abstract

Este trabalho, publicado na Revista Brotéria – Cristianismo e Cultura, vol. 162 (IV), pp. 441-458, debruça-se, numa expressão muito pessoal, sobre oportunidades de desenvolvimento do procedimento profissional das e dos Cientistas. Para o efeito, partindo da sugestão deixada pelos tradicionalmente apontados Pecados Capitais, reflecte sobre o Método Científico, a Comunidade Científica, a vivência quotidiana dos Cientistas – em suma, sobre a Ciência. Não pretende expor deterministicamente conclusões, no final. Pretende, sobretudo, que todos os Cientistas (neófitos ou Catedráticos) reflictam sobre estas matérias, encontrando nesse gesto um convite ao aperfeiçoamento. Porque nem só de erros vive a Ciência. Porque os Cientistas também pecam.
