Crescimento endôgeno e crescimento económico nos países em vias de desenvolvimento

Abstract

Os últimos anos foram palco de uma revolução macroeconómica ao nível das tradicionais teorias de crescimento económico, muito à custa dos novos paradigmas de desenvolvimento económico com ênfase na teoria de crescimento endógeno. Mudou a percepção que se tem sobre crescimento económico, mas também mudou a forma como as economias mundiais se interelacionam, principalmente com surgimento de fenómenos como globalização e a integração regional. Torna-se interessante fazer um “rescue” das diferentes abordagens sobre crescimento económico, diferenciando níveis diferentes de desnvolvimento. Mas mais interessante ainda pode ser o grande propósito deste trabalho que é abordar e confrontar as premissas de diferentes modelos de crescimento económico (focalizando o modelo de crescimento endógeno) e depois verificar as suas implicações macroeconómicas, sem edscurara as possíveis fraquezas de ambos os modelos. A última parte deste trabalho consistiu nas conclusões.
