Abstract

The paper discusses the problems associated with the formation of data necessary to assess the spatial dependence of territories at different levels of aggregation. The analysis is carried out on the basis of data from settlements, municipal districts and urban districts of the Russian Federation. The problems associated with both the formation of spatial matrices and the structure, features of the publicly available statistical information are noted.
