Abstract

Serbian. Указано je на предности и могућности готово тренутног започињања с реализовањем оваквих npojeкaтa у руралним зajeдницaмa, за разлику од урбаних средина у којима пocтojeћa комунална инфраструктура може представљати велику препреку за тако нешто. English. The paper discusses the construction of ecological homes as one of the acceptable solutions to the problem of sustainable living, the basic principles of which were formulated at the conference in Rio in 1992. The essential characteristics of such homes are described, which are reflected in their energy efficiency, efficiency in terms of water consumption and radical reduction of waste water and solid waste generators, etc. Within the intensively growing trend of designing and experimental construction of such homes. The advantages and possibilities of starting almost immediately with the implementation of such projects in rural communities were pointed out, in contrast to urban areas where the existing communal infrastructure can represent a major obstacle for such a thing.
