Abstract

The report examines and presents the relationship between mediation and higher education. Models of education in Bulgarian schools are subject to changes in public relations and in this direction the report presents some of the possibilities for applying the methods of mediation in a broader sense, namely, as prevention of conflicts, creating opportunities for effective communication in an academic environment and as a prerequisite for success in professional realization. Conclusions are made regarding the application of mediation in the field of higher education and recommendations for expanding the scope of the norms of the Mediation Act.
