Abstract

A profissão de Professor no ensino superior tem três grandes componentes: ensino, pesquisa e extensão. Foco aqui especialmente a pesquisa, não menosprezando a importância que o ensino tem na qualificação das gerações de jovens e menos jovens por intermédio dos quais o país se desenvolve, se formam consciências e se constrói uma melhor sociedade. Não desvalorizo igualmente a extensão, principalmente nas atividades de caráter social, nem a participação nas atividades da Academia contribuindo para os periódicos, revendo artigos, participando ativamente em conferências, entre muitas outras.
