Abstract

Kata E-commerce merupakan singkatan dari kata electronic dan commerce. Secara singkat arti dari e-commerce adalah perdagangan elektronik. Namun jika diartikan lebih jauh e-commerce bisa berarti segala kegiatan perdagangan yang meliputi proses pemasaran hingga distribusi barang atau jasa yang dilakukan secara online atau melalui jaringan elektronik. E-commerce menyediakan suatu kemudahan untuk menjual dan membeli produk serta informasi melalui internet atau sarana lainnya tanpa terbatas oleh area geografis.
