Abstract

Puji syukur kehadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa Allah SWT. Buku Statistika Hospitalitas pada edisi sebelumnya dimanfatkan oleh para pembaca sebagai literatur maupun sebagai referensi untuk kepentingan penyusunan karya ilmiah. Atas dorongan pribadi dan masukan dari para pembaca untuk diterbitkan edisi revisi dengan berbagai perbaikan dan kelengkapan materi maupun redaksi. Pada edisi revisi ini materi buku dilengkapi baik secara toeritis maupun praktis dalam contoh perhitungan baik secara manual maupun melalui program SPSS. Namun demikian penyusun masih sangat mengharapkan masukan dari para pembaca untuk perbaikan berupa kritik, saran atau masukan yang bisa disampaikan melalui alamat e-mail penyusun:santosa_59@yahoo.com. Sesuai dengan judulnya, buku ini memberikan contoh-contoh soal dan kajian tentang statistik yang berorientasi pada masalah-masalah pariwisata, baik bidang perhotelan, destinasi wisata maupun bidang manajemen perjalanan wisata. Untuk kepentingan penyusunan tugas akhir pada program S1, maka buku ini memuat tentang bagian-bagian yang berhubungan dengan metode penelitian yaitu berkaitan dengan uji deskriptif, komparatif, asosiatif maupun prediktif, yang sekaligus diaplikasikan melalui program SPSS untuk memudahkan para pengguna buku ini dalam mengaplikasikan pengujian statistik. Ucapan terimakasih penyusun sampaikan kepada segenap civitas akademika Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA (STP AMPTA) baik secara institusi maupun perorangan yang telah memfasilitasi dan memberikan dorongan sehingga buku ini bisa terwujud. Tak lupa ucapan terimakasih juga penyusun sampaikan kepada istri dan anak-anak tercinta, Uswatun Hasanah S.Pd, M. Arya Wresniwira S.Pd, M.Imawan Badranaya, Ninggih Annisa Daniswara dan Utari Annisa Daniswari atas segala dorongan doa dan moril memberikan kesempatan penyusun untuk berkarya.
