Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show the relation which exists between anticipated usage situation and consumer's choice hierarchy. Starting from an empirical study concerning frozen products, we confirm that consumer's social surrounding during the consumption of the product influence the importance of price, brand and packaging. Identical results are obtained with product's motives of consumption. On the other hand, we don't succeed in proving a relation between product's moment of usage and consumer's choice hierarchy.
