Die Berufsbildung in der Pole-Position. Die Einstellungen der Schweizer Bevoelkerung zum Thema Allgemeinbildung vs. Berufsbildung

Abstract

In diesem Paper werden weitere Ergebnisse der 3. Bevoelkerungsbefragung zu Bildungsthemen des Leading Houses "Economics of Education" praesentiert. Die praesentierten Ergebnisse betreffen die Antworten von 6'000 Befragten zu Fragen der Praeferenzen fuer eine akademische Bildung oder die Berufsbildung. Insgesamt zeigt die Befragung einen sehr breiten Support fuer die Berufsbildung in der Schweiz. Die Befragten sind mehrheitlich mit den Anteilen akademischer Allgemeinbildung und beruflicher Grundbildung in der Schweiz einverstanden und wuenschen sich weder eine Erhoehung der Maturitaetsquoten noch der Zahl der Studierenden an Universitaeten. Je nach Vorinformation zeigt sich auch eine Mehrheit der Befragten bereit, fuer das Studium der Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften einen Numerus Clausus einzufuehren. Wie in der zweiten Befragung durch das Leading House, sehen die Befragten einen deutlichen Nachteil von Abschluessen der Berufsbildung gegenueber einer akademischen Ausbildung im sozialen Status, waehrend sie bei der Berufsbildung eher einen relativen Vorteil auf dem Arbeitsmarkt sehen.
