Abstract

Working paper on the international migration of contract labour, especially Asian migrant workers - discusses minimum labour standards, working conditions, welfare, grievances, labour disputes and dispute settlement, etc., lists relevant ILO Conventions and ILO Recommendations, and presents model labour contracts from Hong Kong, India, Korea R, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
