Comparative analysis of local processing for exports in Niger and the ivory coast

Abstract

Working paper comprising a comparison of raw material processing (agriproduct processing) for exports in Niger and the Cote d'Ivoire - discusses production trends, obstacles and competitiveness on the domestic market and international market, and examines the impact on employment creation, choice of technology, labour supply, labour productivity, balance of payments, wage structure, etc. Bibliography pp. 121 to 124, references and statistical tables.
