Abstract

Working paper on increasing woman worker labour force participation in Arab country - examines socio-economic, demographic aspects and cultural factors, educational level, occupational structure, etc. Influencing the participation rate, comments on labour legislation provisions regarding women's rights and makes employment policy recommendations. Bibliography pp. 74 to 83 and statistical tables.
