Cambio tecnológico en tres plantas metalmecánicas mexicanas

Abstract

Examina la conducta tecnológica de tres empresas metalmecánicas mexicanas, partiendo de la idea de que la selección de una tecnología inicial y sus subsecuentes modificaciones en el transcurso del tiempo, se hallan íntimamente relacionadas con el desempeño económico de la firma. Analiza el cambio tecnológico en la evolución de dichas empresas como resultado de diversas variables, asociadas en algunos casos, a la propia historia técnico-económica de cada firma, a la estructura del mercado en que ella actúa y al ambiente macroeconómico en el que se desenvuelve.
