Abstract

"Sexual harassment in the workplace is a widespread issue, affecting both employees and establishments. Based on two IAB surveys, we find that approximately 20 % of employees report experiencing sexual harassment in their work environment, with women being substantially more likely to do so. Both establishments and employees indicate that sexual harassment negatively impacts productivity, absenteeism, and turnover; however, most establishments lack preventive measures."
