Abstract

"Firms that make use of the workfare program 'One-Euro-Jobs' rate it favorably: two thirds consider it suitable for increasing participants' employability. Even when a particular One-Euro-Job is designed to promote social participation, a majority of these employers still affirm that employability is improved. Four out of five firms with One-Euro-Jobs consider their participants suitable for the program. About half of them also consider their participants suitable for regular work in the same or a similar field. According to their employers, One-Euro-Job participants would most benefit from further qualification measures as well as motivational training." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
