Abstract

"This IAB Brief Report compares the development of temporary working contracts in the first two halves of 2008 and 2009, between economic upturn and downturn. The focus is on branch-specific changes in recruitment attitudes and on transitions into permanent employment. In addition the report presents information on the motives of employers for preferring temporary employment." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
