Abstract

. El objetivo del presente trabajo es determinar los efectos que en la economía extremeña ha tenido la entrada en vigor del Impuesto sobre las Ventas Minoristas de Determinados Hidrocarburos. Como herramienta de análisis se emplea un modelo de equilibrio general aplicado, que incorpora diferentes escenarios para el mercado de trabajo. Los resultados muestran que estos efectos han sido reducidos, observándose pérdidas de bienestar para los hogares, reducciones en los niveles de actividad, y disminuciones en precios, salvo para los sectores más ligados a refino. Alternativamente presentamos una segunda simulación en la que se introduce un hipotético tramo autonómico del impuesto para la financiación de políticas medioambientales, en un escenario de neutralidad recaudatoria. La incorporación adicional de este tramo básicamente vendría a reforzar los efectos provocados por el tramo estatal.
