Abstract

Les travaux en science régionale évoquent de plus en plus que l'environnement des entreprises nouvellement créées conditionne la portée de leur création de valeur, et de leur impact économique local, voire régional. Nous interrogeons ici dans quelle mesure les différences de contexte entrepreneurial contribuent en partie à expliquer les différences de niveau de développement régional. Nos résultats montrent une hétérogénéité spatiale de l'influence du contexte entrepreneurial sur le développement régional. Dans ce sens, encourager la création d'entreprises ne suffit pas, il faut aussi et avant tout créer les conditions favorables permettant de créer des entreprises dont la durabilité et les taux de création d'emplois sont élevés.
