Abstract

[eng] Local systems of innovation and territorial dynamics. . In this paper, some analytical issues on industrial dynamics are stressed. The first aim is to address the limits of two kinds of analyses characterizing the dynamic history of productive Systems. On the one hand, positive feedbacks, and path dependencies are not able to characterize the actual character of the relationships which exist between the agents inside a peculiar System facing a process of change. On the other hand, « industrial districts » or « innovative milieux » are descriptive statements of case studies, so as it appears difficult to stem some general analytical implications on local Systems from them. Thus, the second aim of the paper is to focus on localized Systems of innovation as a specifie analytical tool which allows
