Abstract

Le développement de l'aménagement et de la réduction du temps de travail (ARTT) constitue un facteur d'évolution organisationnelle et individuelle de grande ampleur dans les entreprises françaises. Cette recherche vise à mieux appréhender et évaluer les impacts des accords d'ARTT sur l'évolution des organisations et attitudes et comportements au travail, notamment sur l'évolution de l'implication au travail et hors travail.La méthodologie repose sur une étude de cas unique. Des méthodes qualitatives et quantitatives, (entretiens et questionnaires) sont conjointement utilisées dans le cadre de cette étude. L'approche statistique permet de mesurer et d'analyser le changement survenu dans les attitudes des individus sous l'effet de la réduction du temps de travail. La méthode des entretiens complète et éclaire ces résultats statistiques. Le terrain retenu est celui d'un grand groupe d'assurance situé dans l'Ouest de la France (plus de 1200 salariés) passé au 35 heures au printemps 1999.
