Quand le chercheur devient entrepreneur : étude des déterminants de la valorisation de la recherche scientifique

Abstract

Ce travail de recherche interroge les facteurs explicatifs de l'intention entrepreneuriale des chercheurs et leur propension à valoriser leurs recherches par la création d'entreprise. Notre cadre d'analyse décline ces facteurs en trois catégories (les 3C), à savoir les déterminants liés au comportement, à la compétence et au contexte. Notre méthodologie repose sur une enquête menée auprès d'un échantillon de chercheurs affiliés à l'Université du Mans. Les résultats confirment le pouvoir explicatif des trois catégories de déterminants, avec une prédominance des facteurs comportementaux. Sur le plan théorique, cette étude enrichit les cadres conceptuels de l'entrepreneuriat académique en soulignant l'importance des variables comportementales et leurs interactions avec le contexte spécifique de l'écosystème académique. Sur le plan pratique, elle propose des recommandations concrètes aux institutions académiques et aux décideurs afin de renforcer la valorisation de la recherche scientifique.
