Abstract

On étudie un jeu avec complémentarités stratégiques et externalités négatives, où les joueurs sont répartis au sein d'un réseau social. Cette classe de jeux couvre de nombreuses applications en économie, des influences sociales sur les comportements tabagiques à la course aux armements entre des pays adversaires. Des conditions suffisantes pour l'existence d'un unique équilibre et d'un unique optimum social sont établies. Le lien entre ces deux profils est réalisé grâce à la mesure de centralité de Bonacich. Il est ensuite montré que chaque joueur ayant ou subissant de l'influence au sein du réseau exerce un effort strictement trop important à l'équilibre. Lorsque l'optimum social est une solution intérieure, l'excédent d'effort, la perte de bien-être et la taxe optimale apparaissent alors être des fonctions de la structure du réseau.
