Abstract

Qu'est-ce que le marché pour un sociologue ? Les comportements sur les marchés sont-ils uniquement déterminés par des mobiles économiques ? Comment les prix se fixent-ils véritablement ? Notre société est-elle soumise aux lois du marché ? Peut-on se protéger des forces du marché ? Ce sont quelques-unes des questions auxquelles la sociologie apporte des réponses originales, qui permettent de mieux comprendre l'organisation et le fonctionnement des marchés. Ce livre présente de façon accessible et synthétique les enquêtes et les auteurs les plus importants, aussi bien leurs théories que leurs méthodes, offrant au lecteur un état du savoir sur des questions de la plus grande actualité.
