Abstract

Ce numero special d'Economie Rurale reprend un certain nombre de communications au colloque de la Societe Francaise d'Economie Rurale de septembre 1988 consacre a l'impact des nouvelles technologies (biotechnologies et technologies de l'information notamment) sur l'agriculture et l'agro-alimentaire. Divers aspects sectoriels ou transversaux sont traites : -les consequences des nouvelles technologies sur le secteur des semences, la conduite des cultures, l'elevage (avec utilisation de la somatotropine), les industries agricoles et agro-alimentaires, le secteur du machinisme et de la robotique, la recherche et le developpement agricoles ; -les nouvelles technologies et le developpement economique ; -les lecons de l'histoire ; -l'avenir des biotechnologies dans l'agriculture et l'agro-alimentaire ; -les mecanismes sociaux de production des nouvelles technologies ; -les agriculteurs et les nouvelles technologies (attitudes et opinions, problemes d'adoption des innovations, incidences sur les conditions de travail...) ; -la prise en compte du progres technique en agriculture dans la theorie economique.
